hello all,

i filed my application on july 2nd to nebraska service center. Now i am filing my wife' application using the new updated 485 form. i sent my application to nebraska service center. i live in florida and in the new form i have noticed that they are asking people from florida to send 485 application to texas service center.

i am confused as to where i should send my application. i am attaching a sheet which asks mailroom to attach my wife's new application to already filed my application ( sent on 2nd july with no recepit ).. i am just confused that if i send my application to texas will it get attached to my primary already filed application... any one in same situation or any insite please help.

mail to NSC where you have mailed your application,you might have mailed your 485 to NSC since your 140 was approved from there.

I think your employer should cooperate with you by not withdrawing your I-140.


Are you sure that if the employer is not revoking 140, (but they will cancel h1b ) i can join some other employer after receiving EAD but 485 < 180 days

If you are in the process of applying for H1 through another employer, you may be safe. As with everything USCIS, H1 revocation takes couple of months before it is approved. So in the interim you may get your new H1 approved before the previous employer's revocation sails through.

These aren't anything special, but I'm dying to post something while I try to make up my mind about what to do about getting my transparencies into the computer.

All taken with a Kodak DX3500, but I've not figured out how to do my edits in Photoshop without destroying the EXIF. :confused:

I have another cpl. of questions:
- After e-filing I was notified that the case has gone to National benefit center. Is this common/okay?
- Secondly, I am confused what to explain for Part 7 of I-131 form that states : "On a seperate sheet of paper, Explain how you qualify for an advance parole document and what circumstances warrant issuance of advance parole"

Hello All,

I have applied for my 485 in July 2007 and I have received receipt notice for 485 application as well. I also got the appointmnet for FP. I moved to a new location and address has chaged now. If I update my address in USCIS, What are the consequences?

I still have access to the mail in my old address as my friend lives there.

Please suggest.

Changing of address seems to be a simple procedure, but it is very inconsistent and arduous.

I have an approved labor and approved I-140. Based on this I've got extension for 3 more years. I have a contract-hire opportunity which requires me to be a consultant for "X" months. I know I can transfer my H1 to another company. But my question is, can I transfer my h1 again to join the client after "X" months.
